Hi there!
I’m Camila—a writer, storyteller, and lifelong explorer of words. By day, I work in audiovisual media localization for major global brands, helping stories cross borders so people around the world can enjoy them in their own language. Think subs, dubs, VO, and so on. By night, I’m at my desk creating new worlds, shaping characters, and uncovering the secrets of story craft.
When I’m not writing, I’m usually juggling a mix of hobbies and projects. You might find me wandering the forest with a notebook in hand, letting nature spark the next idea. Other days, I’ll be painting (or at least trying to), devouring non-fiction, color-coding notes, trying to pick up the guitar, doing a course on digital painting, or wrestling with the habit of keeping a journal. If you think ADHD… Well, you’re probably right.
I believe stories are how we connect, heal, and make sense of the world—and if I can help you tell yours, even just a little, it would be an honor.

The Quest
Or the Hope
My love for writing began with fan fiction, then grew into a drive to tell my own stories. What started as a hobby quickly evolved to a deep curiosity about how stories work. With a researcher’s mindset (and a Master’s in American Studies, Postgrad in Publishing and Gender Studies), I dove headfirst into writing techniques, book theory, narrative design, and worldbuilding. I devoured books and various resources, took endless notes, testing ideas in practice and running them by my fellow writer friends—to find out that what works for me may as well work for others.
This site is where I share what I’ve learned: tools, ideas, and theory to help you bring your own stories to life. You might be building complex worlds, shaping unforgettable characters, or struggling with plot twists that refuse to untangle themselves. Maybe you’re just looking for some inspiration or share my love for the craft.
I hope you’ll find resources here to make the journey easier (and a little more magical). At least that’s my cautiously ambitious hope!
